Snow White Cameonyx Figurines

These Snow White figurines date from 1986-87 and were available at the US Disney theme parks. Manufactured by StoneQuarry in Albuquerque, they're made from a composite called Cameonyx. It's a mixture of resin and ground stone, poured into a mold. Snow measures approximately 9" tall, the dwarfs 6". "Walt Disney Productions" imprint on bottom, along with a StoneQuarry label.

The Princess.

Dopey.

Grumpy.

Happy.

Sleepy.

Doc.

Sneezy.

Bashful.

The figures were pictured in a Disneyland brochure dated 1986--but which was issued with the park's 1987 "Summer Program" handout. It was the year of the Snow White 50th Anniversary celebration. See more of the brochure and program at Vintage Disneyland Tickets.

Special thanks to François Monferran for letting us know about these figurines. See an earlier post with cameo heart-shaped boxes which were also produced by StoneQuarry.

  1. I really like these! I know the poses are different, but they are very reminiscent of the Snow White's Grotto figures at Disneyland.

  2. You'll notice that Snow White has no shades as to be "pure as snow"! These figurines are VERY appealling and quite "in character": I am quite surprised they seemed to have been discountinued! When we see what is produced nowadays!! ...
