The more expensive ones are the originals from 1938. But there are also duplicates that were produced many years later. They look very similar, but there are some distinct differences if we know what to look for. More on this in an upcoming post. :)Snow White Archivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715594290214114608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4359046077016597255.post-83121440742458517412015-07-03T19:15:49.760-05:002015-07-03T19:15:49.760-05:00Those "Jingle Club" pinback buttons are ...Those "Jingle Club" pinback buttons are pretty common (though I remember when they used to fetch a high price). The idea was that shoppers (or their kids) would send away for a Jingle Club book which contained illustrations of the SW characters and a short poem (or jingle) about each. However, the last line of each was left blank. The only way to discover it was to get a Jingle Card, found inside packages of bread or bags of clean laundry. Collect all 24 cards, write down the lines, and send in your completed jingles to receive a special SW gift--usually a framed print.

Stayed tuned to the Archive over the next several days, we have a whole series of Jingle Club posts coming up where you'll learn even more. :)Snow White Archivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715594290214114608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4359046077016597255.post-13804544346371523432015-07-03T13:45:12.305-05:002015-07-03T13:45:12.305-05:00I love this sort of stuff, but I have no clue what...I love this sort of stuff, but I have no clue what the "Jingle Club" was about.
