Today is the day that Disney officially removes from US distribution the 2009
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition Blu-Ray/DVD. It's heading back to the "
vault" where it typically sits for 7 or 8 years before the next technological media innovation entices it back out again.
Good bye for now...
Of course, if you haven't gotten your copy, there's no hurry. The Blu-Ray/DVDs will be available for years to come on reseller sites like amazon, ebay and others.

ReplyDeleteI love your wording here. Very accurate and very elegant. :-)
Any word on what that next technological media might be? I don't want to have to keep replacing my collection! I haven't even made the Blue-Ray switch yet. At least DVDs play in the Blue-Ray players.....they do, don't they???
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheryl, I appreciate your comment :)
ReplyDeleteNo idea about the next technological format, Tokyo, but I would venture to guess that it might have something to do with a digital download, although it may simply be a new and improved Blu-ray.
