2003 Disney Treasures Trading Cards (Base Set)

The Disney Treasures collection produced by Upper Deck in 2003 is a huge set of trading cards. It's actually made up of three separately-released Hero/Villain base card series along with all kinds of subsets, special chase cards and promo cards. There were even a few Mickey Mouse bobblehead dolls sold in conjunction with the set. On the whole, the ensemble totals over 400 cards. Yikes! That's a lot of scanning. To keep it sane, we'll stick to our theme here and just focus on cards of the Snow White persuasion.

Here are the base cards, both Heroes and Villains. Each of the three distinct series had its own iconic character theme. The first was Mickey Mouse, followed by Donald Duck and then the Winnie the Pooh gang. Images of these characters are seen running down the right side of each card.

  1. Wow! Those are gorgeous cards. I love everything Upper Deck makes.

These remind me of some 1991 Upper Deck promotional cards Disney gave away at the National Card Show in Anaheim in 1991. Beautiful stuff. I have Mickey Mouse, Roger Rabbit and a few others.
