1997 Disney Villains Trading Cards

A set of 25 Disney Villains trading cards was released in 1997 exclusively at Walt Disney World. Included in the collection are the Evil Queen and the Old Witch. Cards measure 3.625" x 2.625".

Packs of five could be found for sale at theme park shops. Fantasia's Chernabog was on the foil wrapper.

The cards were also issued in uncut sheets. Limited edition of 500.

At the 1997 Official Disneyana Convention, which was held at the theme park, a special limited edition of 3600 was made available. They included the convention text printed along the bottom front.



The set was packaged and sold inside a collectible round tin with the convention logo on the lid.

I was fortunate enough to come into possession of one of the uncut sheet posters you picture here in this article and am really interested in getting more info about it including the price value. I cannot find hardly any information about it or anyone listing to sell one so I have no idea about what it's worth. Any info you may have to aid my search would be very appreciated :) thank you!

    1. Hi Rachel, Glad you found our site. Unfortunately, we're not appraisers and wouldn't know what the price value would be on the uncut sheet. We have seen a few of these on ebay from time to time, and if memory serves, they were listed over a hundred dollars. Although, it's not clear if they sold. It's certainly an uncommon collectible, limited to 500. Like any memorabilia, it's all a matter of finding the right buyer at the right time. Ebay or any of the other online auction sites may be a place to test the waters. Wishing you good luck!
