Snow White Carnival Chalk Figures

This collection of Snow White plaster/chalkware figures possibly dates from the late 1930s. All appear to have separate top and bottom pieces, joined around the legs. Snow White is 9" tall, the dwarfs about 7".

The set belongs to collector Rick Payne of dadric's attic...

I don't know if these were made as part of a home kit or purchased this way. With the lack of any "WDE" or other markings, the gaudy paint job, and Snow White's blonde hair, it makes me suspect these might have been a carnival prize.
