Galbani Cheese Label Figures from Italy

Circa 1940, Italian cheese maker, Egidio Galbani, produced a series of formaggio (cheese) with Snow White labels. These wrappers are hard-to-find treasures.

Other Galbani Rex cheeses included paper doll-like figures that could be cut from the paperboard packaging. They ranged in size from about 4 cm high to 11 cm. At least 36 pieces have been found, including all of the characters, the forest animals, and a few accessories.
