1993 US Snow White Pressbook

The "Promotion Guide" for the 1993 US theatrical re-release of Snow White wasn't exactly a complete pressbook. It did not contain any images of posters, lobby cards or other merchandise. It did, however, have plenty of suggestions for theatre activities, contests, national tie-ins, and other promotions. The book has a total of eight numbered pages plus covers. Measures 8.5" x 11"

1993 Re-release Promotional Letters

This cover letter accompanied the Promotional Guide (next post) that was sent out to theatre operators for the 1993 US theatrical re-release of Snow White.



A follow-up letter would have arrived as the release date of July 2nd drew nearer.



An apple cut-out for the theatre activities came with the letter..

"Snow White" Character Mini-Busts by Enesco / Grand Jester / Sideshow

A lot of players have been involved with the creation of the Disney Bust Series--a collection of hand-painted, highly detailed, polystone resin character mini-busts. The Disney Company licensed Enesco to manufacture the line. Grand Jester Studios was employed to make the original figs. With the Evil Queen example below, well-known artist Romandy-Simmons came up with the design sketch, sculptor Jacqueline Perrault Gonzales made it a reality, and Sideshow Collectibles handled distribution.

The Evil Queen stands 8" (203.2mm) tall. Limited edition of 3000. First introduced to retailers in June 2012, the figure was available for purchase April 2013. SRP $85.00.

2013 Jim Shore Hag & Princess Sculpts

Introduced to retailers June 2013, "Take A Bite" is the latest Old Hag sculpture by artist Jim Shore. Made of stone resin, the figure stands 7" tall. Coordinates with the dancing Snow White scene in an earlier post. Estimated availability to the general public is December 1, 2013. $45.00 SRP.
