"Miracle Vinyl" Snow White & Seven Dwarfs Dolls by Deluxe Reading

The "Miracle Vinyl" Snow White doll was manufactured by Deluxe Reading (Deluxe Creations, Inc.) of New York, circa 1957. "© Walt Disney Productions." She stands 22" tall. Moving sleep eyes when placed horizontal. Rooted hair. Yellow dress with blue bodice (which shows fading in many of the examples found online).

Snow was sold as a boxed set with the Seven Dwarfs. They measure between 7 to 8".

Original box holds all eight dolls.

2017 Saks Fifth Avenue Snow White Doll

At the start of the holiday season later this November, Saks Fifth Avenue will be celebrating Snow White's 80th anniversary with themed light and window displays (see them in a future post). To kick things off, they released a "Once Upon a Holiday" Snow White vinyl doll. Height: 17" (listed at 18.75"). Limited edition 1000. Retail $370. Issued in select store locations October 26, 2017; online October 27 (sold out by end of day).

2016 Shanghai Disney Resort Snow White Doll

On June 16, 2016, the Shanghai Disney Resort opened to the public. In November of that year, a limited edition Snow White vinyl doll was released to commemorate the grand opening. Edition size: 1200. Doll stands 17" tall. Sold exclusively at the resort. Original price ¥699 (Chinese yuan).
