2015 "Circle of Friends" Birthday Card

I recently came across this birthday card manufactured by Ambassador. It features three iconic Disney dresses mounted on the front--Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora. The card is sold with a protective plastic covering which can be removed before use. The text reads:

In every circle of friends, there's the smart one, the sweet one, and the sassy one...

Inside, the text continues:

I for one think it's hardly fair that you get to be all three. Happy birthday.

"Wonderful Niece" Greeting Card

A Snow White greeting card, "The Wonderful Niece Fairytale." Produced by Hallmark, licensed by Disney. Standard card size. Purchased in December 2014 at Walgreens.

Retail $3.49. Issued with light blue envelope.

2013 "Singing" Snow White Birthday Card

Purchased at a Hallmark store in February 2013, this tri-fold greeting card offers a Snow White surprise for an unsuspecting birthday girl.

Open left flap, no music yet.

But open the right side and the card begins to play Whistle While You Work, featuring Adriana Caselotti from the movie soundtrack. The left and right flaps each contain a hidden speaker for stereophonic sound. The tune jumps from left to right, then back to left and again to right several times throughout the 22 second excerpt from the song.

Retail price $5.99. Comes with a white envelope.

2013 Smiling Prince Birthday Card

A Hallmark Prince & Dwarfs tri-fold birthday card. Standard size. Purchased from Walgreens, October 2013. Retail $2.99.

The die-cut Prince folds over when the card is opened to reveal the Seven Dwarfs.

Card comes with yellow envelope.

2013 Halloween Greeting Card

Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, and the Evil Queen. "Bad girls have more fun..." Found this Hallmark Halloween card yesterday at Walgreens.The off-kilter border and runny black lines are nice touches.

Standard size card. Came with orange envelope. Retail $2.99.

2013 Snow White Wedding Card

Stopped by Walgreens yesterday to pick up a few things, and I quickly buzzed through their greeting card isle again. Wasn't really expecting anything new but then found this wedding card in the Charmed Moments section (mentioned in previous post). The card had been there on my earlier visit, yet because of the subtlety of the silhouette layout, I hadn't noticed that it was a Snow White design.

The text on the front cover reads, "Dreams really do come true..."

The Prince and Snow are shown in silhouette as she strikes her classic "dress-hold" pose. It is possible, however, that these two could simply be mistaken for a generic fairytale couple. What gives it away as a Snow White card is the Wishing Well at the top, set below a heart-shaped "gem".

Two forest bunnies sit at the base of the design.

The text inside reads, "Here's to your happily-ever-after life together."

Retail price $3.69. Comes with Hallmark silver-gray envelope.

2013 Snow White "Charmed Moments" Birthday Card

I came across this Snow White birthday card last month at Walgreens. They had a section within their card isle called Hallmark/Disney Charmed Moments. The greeting cards featured the classic characters but re-envisioned in new stylized illustrations.

A glitter-highlighted Snow holds the apple as she looks out from a raised window frame. Text reads, "Who wouldn't want to celebrate you?"

Three of the Dwarfs are pictured inside. "You're the nicest person in the whole darn kingdom...Happy Birthday." The card face came wrapped in a protective plastic cover.

On the back side, we see Snow again with the remaining little men. "And fairest, too!"

Retail price $3.69. Comes with sky blue envelope.

Purchased from a California Hallmark store in February, this Snow White and Prince anniversary card is one of several in a series featuring classic Disney couples. Retail price $3.49.
