Green metal tin with hinged lid. Vintage Snow White lithos on top and side panels. Illustrations are patterned off of the original art designs of Gustaf Tenggren. Dates from circa 1938. Made in England.

Fan Art - Hand Painted Lunchbox

This OOAK hand painted metal lunchbox features Snow White and Grumpy on the front side. It was created in May 1969 and signed by the artist, "Ricky's Gramps". A family of bunnies is found on the back and flowers on the side panels.

Cookie tin, circa 1938. Measures 6" diameter, 2.5" high. Marking on lid, "By Permission of Walt Disney-Mickey Mouse Ltd." Colorful graphics on the lid with silver toned art around side panel. Made in England.

Dwarfs encircle the tin, each with his name printed below his image.

1940s Biscuit Tin from Italy

This Italian biscuit tin, manufactured by Enrico Pagliarini of Romano di Lombardia, probably dates from circa 1940. It doesn't look to be an officially licensed Disney product, and yet the two dwarfs on the side-panel are clearly Grumpy and Sleepy. Also pictured on the tin is a Snow White with recognizably Disney-esque shoulder sleeves. Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, and Felix the Cat fill out the other sides. Measures approximately 8" x 4" x 4".

Vintage Blancanieves Lunchbox from Spain

A Snow White metal lunchbox made in Spain by Payva. All sides lithographed. Measures 22.5 cm wide x 20 cm tall x 11.5 cm deep. Dates from circa 1970.

The lunchbox original came with a metal retaining bar under the lid which could hold a thermos. It's missing in this first example.

Vintage Biscuit Tin from Norway

This Seven Dwarfs biscuit tin was produced in Norway, circa 1938. The illustrated lid shows the dwarfs at the dinner table.

Snow White "House" Bank by Jouets Mont-Blanc

A vintage Snow White lithographed tin bank. House-shaped. Manufactured in France by Jouets Mont-Blanc, circa 1950s. Measures 5" x 5" x 2". Features an image of the dwarfs' cottage on the one side along with a little keyed door through which your money is retrieved.

On the opposite side is pictured Bashful, Happy and Sleepy with a bag of money at their feet.

The side panels are illustrated with Snow and Dopey (who looks like he may have had one too many).

A coin slot is cut in the roof.
