"Seven Dwarfs to the Rescue" Lamp Shade by Doris

In 1938, La Mode Studios (New York) issued chalkware figural lamps featuring Snow White and three of the dwarfs (Doc, Grumpy, Dopey). A full-color illustrated shade would have been included with each lamp. A dozen different Snow White-themed shade designs were available. All of them were distributed by Doris Lamp Shade Inc. (New York).

This example is still factory sealed in cellophane. Made of stiff paperboard, it measures 5.75" high. It depicts the scene where the dwarfs race to save Snow White from the Witch. Includes the original Doris illustrated label. Marked "Copyright 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises."
