Snow White Trading Cards by Barratt, c.1940
Here's a look at a rare set of Snow White trading cards produced in Great Britain by Barratt & Company, circa 1940. A total of 36 different cards are known in this series (British Trade Card index reference ZJ5-45). Each illustration is accompanied by the name of the character. Cards measures approximately 64mm x 53mm (2.5" x 2"). Back sides are blank.
So far online, we've come across 33 of the 36 (although most are rather small images).
A Pinocchio series was also produced during this time period; see a few of these cards at dant melys flickr album. Special thanks to William Stillman for his assistance with this Snow White post.
