Disney Princess Theme Park Square Tin

This Disney Princess metal candy tin was sold at the US theme parks. Raised artwork with Snow White gracing the lid; Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, and Aurora on side panels. Dimensions: approximately 4.25" square. Originally housed rainbow colored milk chocolate nonpareils. Retail $10. Distributed by Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Walt Disney Attractions was the distributor of merchandise at Walt Disney World from 1971 until the mid 2000s. At that time, the name was changed to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. So our princess tin definitely dates from after this point.

Snow White Cottage Tin from Tokyo Disneyland

Cottage-shaped candy tin featuring Snow White and six of the dwarfs on the lid with a Dopey figure attached to the "roof". The Old With is pictured on a side panel. Dimensions: 7" H x 5" W x 2.25" D. Sold at Tokyo Disneyland.

TDL Seven Dwarfs Candies Tin

A Seven Dwarfs candy tin from Tokyo Disneyland. Dates from circa 1998. Measures 4.5" x 4.5" x 1". Made in Japan. Original yen price: ¥400.

1990s Tin Pencil Case

This Snow White tin container displays artwork that was used during the 1993 re-release of the motion picture. The box measures approximately 7" long. Rounded ends, hinged lid. Probably designed for use as a pencil box. Made in Taiwan.

This particular tin was sold by an ebayer in Peru.

Tin Coin Bank from Japan

Seen online in early 2017, this Snow White tin bank is part of a series of Disney banks produced in Japan. Includes a lock and keys. Hinged lid with coin slot on top. Measure 12 cm x 8.5 cm and 7.5 cm high. Officially licensed.

Mitsubishi Pencil Tin

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are pictured on the lid of this metal box. Originally came with 12 pencils. Manufactured by the Mitsubishi Pencil Company in Japan. Includes a "Walt Disney Productions" imprint and Japan Disney Store Mickey label. Dimensions: 4" x 7". Probably dates from the 1980s.

Snow White Toffee Tin

The "happily ever after" scene from Snow White is depicted on the lid of this round theme park tin. Measures 8.5" across.

The photo of the bottom label is slightly out of focus, but we can see that the tin once held 13 ounces of chocolate covered almond butter toffee. The smaller print indicates distribution by Walt Disney Attractions (WDA).

WDA got its start in 1971 with the opening of Walt Disney World. The Disney subsidiary changed its name to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in the mid-2000s. So it's probable that our tin dates from the early 2000s or mid to late 1990s.

Snow White "Beauty People" Makeup Tins

A line of Snow White makeup was produced by Beauty People of South Korea, circa 2013-16. The series includes eyeliner and lipstick sets sold in different tin containers. Stylized artwork featuring a pouty-faced Snow White is pictured on the hinged lids. Most of the tins measure 13.3 cm x 9 cm.

• Special Edition 3: Eye & Lip Crayons.

• Diamond Auto Liner was issued in a larger tin. Measures 19 cm x 8.5 cm.
