Candy Cauldron Mug + Glass

The Candy Cauldron is a favorite sweets stop while cruising Downtown Disney in Florida. Now you can take home more than just that memory of the giant caramel apple you bought there. The "Candy Cauldron" mug and tumbler became available at the parks this past year and online at the Disney Store in June.

The ceramic mug holds 12 oz. and stands 3.25'' high. Screen art features the Old Witch. Matte finish exterior, gloss interior. Not dishwasher or microwave safe. Retail $12.95.

The mugs were spotted at Disneyland earlier this month by TokyoMagic of Meet the World.

The glass tumbler has some cool retro screen artwork. Holds 16 oz., 6.75'' tall. Avoid the dishwasher and microwave with this one too. Retail $9.95.

From the collection of Michael Filippello comes this autograph of one of the greats--Lucille La Verne--the voice of both the Evil Queen and the Old Hag in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Scary Adventures Image Manipulation by Kurt Raymond

In his free time, Wicked Witch enthusiast Kurt Raymond enjoys the art of image manipulation. He starts with an original photo and transforms it into something altogether new. To the create the colorful and dynamic looks, he uses PaintShop Pro and Photoshop.

One of his many creations is this scene from Snow White's Scary Adventures at Disneyland. It started as a black and white photo.

1938 The Story of Doc

The Story of Doc is part of the eight-book Snow White "Story of" series that was produced in 1938 by Whitman Publishing Company. Measures 7.5" x 11" and contains 24 pages. The leafs are made from an inexpensive pulp stock with somewhat heavier stock covers. The books were meant to used and colored by young readers, so finding copies free from marks and damage can be an expensive challenge.

There's two tales in which Doc loses his glasses. The first took place "50 years earlier at least" and we get to see what the dwarfs' leader looks like without his spectacles. Dopey helps him find them.

The second story occurs out in the forest. All the dwarfs and animals pitch in this time to locate the missing glasses.
