1938 Card Album from Cuba

According to Hake's, this Cuban Snow White "sticker" album dates from circa 1938. Issued by “La Estrella”--a chocolate and snack company.  The numbered cards were given away as premiums in a chocolate promotion. Each is printed on thin paper stock and measures 3" x 2.25". A total of 100 in the collection. The stiff paper album contains corresponding spaces for the cards to be mounted with glue. Measures about 12" x 7.5", pp.18 (incl. covers). Spanish text.

1950s Card Album from Cuba

A Snow White "sticker" album from Cuba, circa 1950s. Spanish text. Vertical format measures 8.75" x 11.5", pp.28 (including covers). Contains spaces for 200 cards which tell two separate stories, the second of which introduces new characters. The cards are numbered and measures 2" x 3". Glue was required to affix to book. The film distributor, RKO, is indicated on the front cover. The album was issued by Propagandas Universal.

A horizontal-format book was issued by Las Colecciones Nogueiras. Different cover artwork, but the 200 card set is the same as in the collection above. No mention of RKO in this one.
