Faber-Castell 'Snow White' Erasers

A series of eight Snow White erasers produced by pencil manufacturer, Faber-Castell. Product no. D2454. Pictured in the original packaging. The individual price tag on one reads 29¢ (at Target). Others are marked 37¢ or 38¢ each. These examples were sold in Australia. Issued in the 1980s.

1938 UK Snow White Pen & Pencil Sets by Venus

A Snow White pen & pencil set made in England by Venus Pencil Co. Ltd. Dates from 1938. Includes four pencils (with illustrated images of the characters), inking pen, extra nibs, nib case, 6" ruler, pencil sharpener, and gummy eraser. Decorative wood case measures 3" x 7.75" x 1". Item no. 9054.

Vintage 'Seven Dwarfs' Wood Pencil Box

This multi-chamber wooden pencil box features a color illustration of the Seven Dwarfs with text, "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's home from work we go..." Measures 9.25" x 2.5" and 1.5" deep. Sliding the lid to the right opens the first pencil storage space. This upper portion of the box can then swing out to reveal a hidden compartment below. A painted example and several unpainted versions have been found online. Some include a "Japan" imprint on the bottom. Possibly dates from 1950s.

1990s Tin Pencil Case

This Snow White tin container displays artwork that was used during the 1993 re-release of the motion picture. The box measures approximately 7" long. Rounded ends, hinged lid. Probably designed for use as a pencil box. Made in Taiwan.

This particular tin was sold by an ebayer in Peru.

1990s Plastic Pencil Box

A plastic Snow White box with two pencil compartments, an additional small chamber, a pop-up sharpener, thermometer, and date display. Made in Taiwan. Produced in the 1990s.

1937 Snow White Pencil Sets by Dixon

In 1937, Dixon issued several different Snow White pencil boxes. Each is made of stiff paperboard with a heavy textured "leatherette-like" covering that includes various Snow White lithographed graphics. The lid flap has a metal snap closure. Some boxes have also been seen with a carrying handle. Inside are dividers and a pull-out drawer. The interior paper covering has repeated photos of Disney Seiberling rubber figures. The boxes would have originally come with pencils, crayons, an erasure, ruler, etc. Typical size: approximately 8.5" x 4.5" x 1.25 deep. "©1937 Walt Disney Ent."

A box with a similarly designed interior was listed in a 1938 wholesale catalog from the N. Shure Co. of Chicago. The outside graphic is entirely different with Snow White standing with arms raised to her side. Price per dozen: 90¢.
