These paperboard masks are each marked on the back side "© 1985 Walt Disney Productions". The Snow White designs are similar--but not identical--to the Einson-Freeman "PAR-T-MASKS" produced in 1937 and also those found in the Whitman mask book from 1938.
Pluto looks a little evil here! I love the artwork on these. The picture of Mickey on the package reminds me of a video I saw on YouTube, where the Mickey character on a Disney cruise ship lost his "eye" in the middle of a show!
ReplyDeleteMickey lost an eye during a show? That's hilarious! What can you do but keep going. :)
DeleteYeah, it fell inward into his head. He immediately covered that eye with his hand and then ran off stage! Here's the link to the clip if you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA3p41ErOXg
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the cast member, and it was handled quite well, but I can't stop laughing. :)
