'Doctor Who' Mashup Art of Karen Hallion

The artwork of Karen Hallion rocks! Her Disney-Steampunk-Star Wars-Art Nouveau-Doctor Who mashups are some of the best out there. I first learned of her work last year when I came across a Snow White steampunk piece she'd created. Yet, it wasn't until a recent visit to Orlando with author Ron Miles that I saw her Doctor Who pieces. Ron had purchased several of Karen's t-shirts including this one below.

Snow White has just survived her scary adventure through the dark forest. As the animal friends gather around, though, it's not the Dwarfs' cottage she discovers, but rather the TARDIS, the Doctor's time machine spacecraft.

Ron (wearing a Cinderella/Who) waiting in the queue line for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with his son Ben (wearing a Belle/Who) and Ben's mom, Sara.

One fan had pictures taken of himself wearing his Dr. Who shirts during all of his Disney princess meet-and-greets. See his imgur album at mritty.

A second Snow White mashup has the TARDIS (rather than the Prince) in the Queen's courtyard near the wishing well.

Just a few of the many other designs in the Fairytale Who series.

Most of her work is done in Photoshop CC and with a Wacom Cintiq 21UX. Learn more about Karen Hallion and her other mashup art at her facebook page.

  1. Love the Snow Whites, but the Briar Rose dancing with the 10th Doctor's clothes is brilliant.

  2. I love her! I've purchased some tee shirts from her before. She goes to a lot of conventions and I've seen her. She's really awesome!
