The Story of Snow White was issued in January and listed online at the Disney Store earlier this month. Written by Disney Book Group. Illustrated by Disney Storybook Art Team. Published by Disney Press. Hardcover, 112 pages. For ages 4-8. Dimensions: 10.875'' x 8''. Retail $12.95.

The artwork--which includes newer renderings of the classic characters and story scenes--was also used last year in the 2015 Disney Movie Collection storybook, published in the United Kingdom.

    It was released back in January, a month before the new Signature Collection Blu-ray. It really is fantastic, the illustrations are beautiful, and they nailed the watercolor backgrounds from the movie. The series also includes Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Frozen. All these books have wonderful illustrations, but Snow White is the best one! :)

    The artist is the same that illustrated some new Big Golden Books issued in concidence with the blu rays, like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Beautiful illustrations!
