Seven Dwarfs Themed-Construction Walls from 2012

In December of 2012, a number of themed construction walls appeared around the perimeter of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Walt Disney World. Most have now been taken down as the park prepares for the opening of last of the new Fantasyland expansion projects. Yet, here's a look back at this whimsical mural artwork.

A peek-thru wall allowed park guests to glimpse the progress on the roller coaster construction.

Other walls reflected elements from the Fanatsyland area they were in. This one was near the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Dopey builds a sand castle of Ariel's home; Bashful combs his beard with a dinglehopper.

Near Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Dopey uses the magic feather to tickle Sneezy's nose, who has his hands full of Storybook Circus popcorn.

In the vicinity of the Mad Tea Party, Doc paints the Red Queen's roses from Alice in Wonderland; Grumpy is not happy.

Adjacent to Winnie-The-Pooh, Sleepy does his thing as Dopey makes off with a hunny pot.

Across from Enchanted Tales with Belle, Dopey pretends to be the Beast; Doc holds a Lumiere-style candelabra.

And this final wall included some new artist renderings by Chris Turner.
