A rare movie poster from former Yugoslavia, this one dates from the late 1940s. The Serbian Cyrillic script variant reads Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Format is approximately 19" x 27" (48 x 69cm.), a standard size for Yugoslav posters.
Another poster, a folded half sheet from circa 1973. Measures 20" x 27.5". Walt Disney Productions. "Snežana" is a Slavic female name meaning "snow woman"--the connotation being similar to Snow White.
Neat, I love movie posters from foreign lands.
ReplyDeleteMe too. The artwork is often fresh and quite different in style.
