Boxed Set of Figural Tree Ornaments

Manufactured by Doubl-glo, this vintage collection of Christmas ornaments was the very first Snow White set ever produced. It came in a handsomely illustrated box (12" x 9.5" x 2" deep) with the "1938 Walt Disney Enterprises" copyright information printed on the lower edge of the lid.

The 8-piece painted, blown glass set with attached metal caps and wire hanger loops includes Snow White and the Dwarfs, each 3.5" tall.



The box lid is perforated to allow a die-cut display look...



Makes for a nice feature when opened. Possibly displayed in stores this way...

    does anyone have any clue where i could possibly buy this set?! my mom had the full set long long ago, however over the years all she has left of it is Doc. please help!

      It's amazing what shows up on ebay. You may want to inquire from Rick Payne via his dadric's attic account. He did have this set at one time, and may still.
